VICTORIA JOHNSON

Raised in Burleson
Victoria grew up in Burleson and is a graduate of Burleson High School. After marrying Phillip, they decided to return to her hometown to put down roots. They have two children: Audrey, age 8, and Oliver, age 6. The Johnson family lives in the Plantation development on the east side of town. As a family, they enjoy walking to Oak Valley North Park, fishing at Bailey Lake, running around Mayor Vera Calvin Plaza and shopping at the Farmer's Market.
Community Involvement
Victoria is a passionate community advocate who has served Burleson in numerous capacities both professionally and through her volunteer work. From her experience, she understands the interworkings of the City when it comes to education, health care, community needs, economic development and addressing our underserved populations.
Giving Back
Victoria is passionate about giving back to her hometown. In the words of a local church marquee, "you can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving." She served as a Rotarian in Burleson for 10 years, 7 of those as a Board Member, coordinating community service activities on behalf of the Club. These included community improvement projects such as helping a homeowner with yard work, painting or small repair projects in partnership with the City's Code Compliance department. Partnering with the BISD elementary libraries to donate books on behalf of weekly speakers to the Club. As well as providing support to community events such as Founder's Day, the Burleson Honey Tour Bike Ride, Be Healthy 5K and more.
